About SBCC
We are excited to introduce the USC Small Business Consulting Club, a new student-led organization at the University of Southern California dedicated to driving meaningful change both on campus and in the surrounding South Central Los Angeles community.
Why We Are Starting the USC Small Business Consulting Club (SBCC)?
At USC, interest in consulting is higher than ever. Every year, hundreds of highly qualified students apply to consulting clubs in hopes of gaining real-world experience and building their professional skills. Yet, because of limited capacity, many qualified students are turned away — left without opportunities to apply their skills, build their resumes, or explore a future career in consulting.
Recognizing this gap, we are starting the USC Small Business Consulting Club (SBCC) — a community built on inclusivity, learning, and real-world impact. Our club offers hands-on consulting projects with minimal barriers to entry, providing students with the experience they need to grow while making a tangible difference in the community.
At the same time, many small businesses in the South Central Los Angeles area face real challenges and can greatly benefit from tailored, pro-bono consulting support. By working directly with local entrepreneurs, we are creating opportunities to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes — not just for individual businesses, but for the broader community and economy surrounding USC.
What sets SBCC apart is our commitment to a personal, hands-on approach. Our teams work directly and in person with business owners, building strong relationships and gaining deep insights into the realities they face every day. This ensures that the solutions we deliver are not only thoughtful and strategic, but also practical, relevant, and sustainable.
At SBCC, we are committed to empowering students, supporting small businesses, and strengthening our local community — one project at a time.
